Decision Making
Data! Data! Data! How do we collect what we need? See what we want? Use it to set goals?
Why is this important to your program?
Data can tell your program’s story. All the assessments and checklists that are completed can follow your program’s progress and see what’s working and what needs to be added or tweaked… or discontinued. Data can show what children, staff and/or parents need the most support. Honing in on these data points helps your staff feel more confident and become more competent. Your children become better learners and your program will remain in compliance with standards and function with more efficiency and better quality.
Collaborate on Systems Planning: Data planning should include your key players and your management and/or leadership team. We can help you identify staff essential to providing input into planning for each program area.
Consulting: Within each program area we can work with the planning team to look at assessments and practices. We will identify the data and information needed to plan for professional development, coaching and overall changes relevant to that area. Change can be made that will make a difference and promote a culture of quality and a positive environment for children and staff.
Training: the following tools and assessment can be used to provide input into data-driven decision making:
